Naomi L. Baum, Ph.D., a psychologist, internationally consults in the field of trauma and resilience. She is the former director of the Resilience Unit at METIV, where she created the BRI-Building Resilience Intervention, a program she has implemented in Israel and abroad. She currently directs our international summer course, Trauma and Resilience: Theory and Practice from the Israeli Experience in conjunction with the Hebrew University.
She is the author of two books, Life Unexpected: A Trauma Psychologist Journeys through Breast Cancer, and Free Yourself from Fear: A Seven Day Plan for Overcoming Fear of (Recurrent) Cancer. Naomi is an avid traveler, scuba diver, cyclist and cook and blogs and publishes on her travels.
